Fulton County, Georgia – Jenna Ellis, an attorney who worked on the Trump 2020 campaign, pled guilty on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 to one count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings. Ellis is charged as a co-defendant of Donald Trump in in the Georgia election interference case.
Ellis is the latest co-defendant in the case to make a deal to testify for the State of Georgia in the prosecution. She joins former Trump attorneys Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, who both pled guilty last week and agreed to testify for the prosecution.
Ellis, 38, pleaded guilty in Fulton County Superior Court. Under the terms of the plea agreement, she was sentenced to five years probation, 100 hours of community service, payment of $5,000 in restitution and write an apology letter. She will also have to testify for the prosecution if the State calls her as a witness.
